“Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again” - John 10:17 Man as a rebel does not accept somebody is in control. If he would only accept then it would require his/her need to surrender and submit to the God Who is in control. “Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again” - John 10:17 Man as a rebel does not accept somebody is in control. If he would only accept then it would require his/her need to surrender and submit to the God Who is in control. “God is in control” is a fact which encourages the body of believers. Abraham knew HE was in control when he offered Isaac as a sacrifice. The One who was in control gave a lamb instead. With a vast sea before and a roaring army behind chasing to devour, Moses had but one thought that “He is in control”. Red Sea was parted and enemies were destroyed.David knew He was in control as he flung the smooth stone on a giant. We see victory for Israel and rise of a Shepherd King. Three godly young men who were thrown into burning fire knew He was in control. They had a surprise visit of a Friend to save them as HE Himself is a consuming fire. Jesus as HE hung on the cross knew Abba Father was in control. We have our greatest hope, The Resurrection of Christ. Amidst all trials and tortures in chains, Paul knew He was in control. We have half of the New Testament books in our hands. We all go through pain and suffering in some manner and degree. But the very thought that He is in control and also the One in control loves us to the fullest should encourage us. Patience coupled with Perseverance and Prayer is the sign of a believer who has understood this truth that He is in control.Abba Father, |
